Today we cut back on mileage and went 14 for our long run. It's kind of funny because this was actually shorter than my medium long run this week. The next two weekends are going to be crazy hard so this was an attempt to prepare for that. I did a great job and held back today :) No closing. I felt kind of sluggish overall...but that's ok. I ended at 7:45ish pace for the 14 and then did some strides to loosen up my hamstring. Afterwards we enjoyed a nice team breakfast at Elsie's.
pluses: great nap, free cake
minuses: none, it's the weekend!!
